I was the cinematographer on Fruit is Ripe, which is premiering at the Calgary International Film Festival (2025) and is distributed by Telus. Filmed over four seasons in Alberta in a vérité style, the documentary captures the rhythms of immigrant life as a group of first-generation Chinese families pursue sustainable farming through innovative solar greenhouses. The result is an intimate portrait of resilience, generational bonds, and the values these newcomers cultivate in their adopted Canadian home.
